Please plan to join us at the first local Author Book Fair at the Tye Preston Memorial Library in Canyon Lake, TX, October 7 at 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Several local authors will join us in promoting and giving a brief presentation on our books. Spread the word and plan to be “wowed” by all the local talent! Books will be signed and available for purchase.
So much talent in one room! We were completely blown away by all the authors and the different genres represented. For their first event, we think it was well attended (of course you always hope for more) and very well organized by Nicky Pownall (and staff) at the Tye Preston Memorial Library. Kudos to the library and all the local authors! We felt privileged to have been a part of this great event!

BOOK PRESENTATION TODAY AT THE NEWCOMERS CLUB IN NEW BRAUNFELS, TX - September 5, 2023
About 45 people were in attendance today to listen to our presentation and watch our slideshow of our “in-tents” journey on the Appalachian Trail. It was so much fun to re-live and share our adventure once again. Many great questions were asked.
One of those questions: Will we return to the trail and complete another section?
Yes, we will be returning to the trail to backpack another section (600 miles) May of 2024, God willing. It's been made public - No turning (or looking) back now …

Thank you so much Miss Pat for opening up your saloon, Longhorn Saloon and Dance Hall for our book presentation on March HOBOS GOING SOBO IN THEIR OBOZ, on Saturday. Although the weather was a deterrent, it didn’t stop some from coming out and listening to our presentation on our journey on the Appalachian Trail. We were so blessed and thankful to those who were able to come. It was a lot of fun with many questions asked and many great tips on how to branch out further with our book. Again, thank you for your hospitality and generosity in offering such an awesome venue! You’re the absolute BEST! If ever anyone needs a great venue to host your event, I might just be able to hook you up!
